These Tangy Sesame Chicken Wings, with their Asian flair, are my go-to game day and party appetizer recipe! Everyone always raves about them, and they disappear quickly! YOU HAVE TO TRY THESE!
This is a really easy recipe. Whisk together your gluten free soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, lemon zest and juice, garlic, ginger, and all the seasonings. I am partial to San J Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce.
We started using this soy sauce when we discovered my son’s allergy issues, and almost fourteen years later, I still buy it, even though we no longer have to worry about eating gluten free. It has such a great flavor!
24 chicken wings
¾ cup soy sauce (I use San-J Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce)
¾ cup rice vinegar
3 tablespoons honey
zest and juice from 2 lemons
1 clove of garlic, pressed
1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, grated
1 teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried thyme
3 tablespoons melted butter
sesame seeds for topping
- Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Step 2
Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, lemon zest and juice, garlic, fresh ginger, and all seasonings.
- Step 3
Marinate wings for most of the day or overnight.
- Step 4
Remove your wings from the mixture and pat dry. (This is really important – do not skip this step!)
