Orange Fluff comes together in a matter of minutes to create a dreamy dessert that is perfect for just about any occasion.

Fluff desserts are definitely one of those sneaky mom desserts that pack in a little extra nutrition without you ever being the wiser. My mom’s recipe always included cottage cheese, meaning our sweet treats were actually packed full of protein.

Orange Fluff comes together in a matter of minutes and is the perfect weeknight dessert. So dreamy!



INGREDIENTS:


16 ounces cottage cheese
2 3-ounce boxes orange Jell-o mix
16 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed (I used Truwhip)
2 11-ounce cans mandarin oranges, roughly chopped, optional


Orange Fluff couldn't be more delicious. Serve it up with whipped cream and orange slices for a quick and easy summer dessert.



INSTRUCTIONS:


  • Step 1

Puree cottage cheese in a food processor until smooth.

  • Step 2

Transfer the pureed cottage cheese to a large bowl and whisk in the dry Jell-o mix until thoroughly incorporated.

  • Step 3

Use a rubber spatula to fold in the whipped topping until no streaks remain.

  • Step 4

Fold in mandarin oranges.

  • Step 5

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

  • Step 6

If desired, serve topped with a dollop of whipped cream or whipped topping and fresh orange slices. For a little added flavor and texture, you can also fold in 2 cups of miniature marshmallows.
